Business Development Consultants for our new Strategy Office

Falck Group is looking for passionate and pioneering Business Development Consultants who want to be part of our new Strategy Office, referring directly to the CEO and executive management, to help shape the future of Falck globally. The Strategy Office’s key focus will initially be on driving and facilitating our corporate strategy under our new Project North Star, which will set the future ambitions and direction for Falck. In the long term, the Strategy Office will focus on strategy implementation by ensuring a strong link between strategy and key initiatives. This includes driving strategic projects in close cooperation with our Business streams and Group functions, for instance focusing on strategy development, transformation projects, mergers & acquisitions, post-merger integration, divestments, innovation, and optimization.

The position
As a Business Development Consultant, you will play a key role in realizing our Project North Star. You will be responsible for driving sustainable transformation through large and small strategic projects within the Falck Business Streams or across Falck Group, and you will be working closely with management and specialists at all levels of the organization. Typically, you will be working on a project for 3-6 months with a team that consist of colleagues from both the Strategy Office and the Business streams. One of the Business Development Consultants we are looking for needs strong competences within PMO. Another one needs solid experience within M&A and valuation.
You will
  • scope and plan strategic projects and initiatives
  • individually drive small projects or workstreams in larger projects
  • ensure deliveries are right on time, quality, and budget
  • guide and mentor junior project team members
  • make concrete recommendations to management and set up successful implementation
  • be the team expert within 1-2 skill areas (i.e. M&A, PMI, Process Excellence, Change Management)
  • develop, train, and coach project resources in the Strategy Office toolbox
  • prepare ad-hoc analyses and presentations for executive management
You have
  • a relevant master's degree in business administration, finance, strategy, or economics
  • 3-4 years of experience working with strategy development and transformation projects from a top-tier management consultancy or investment bank/corporate finance, possibly combined with similar position in an international company
  • a sound analytical toolbox – hypothesis driven analyses, data driven decision making, logical communication structure
  • significant project management and change management skills. Certification is a plus
  • creativity in facilitating productive workshops and presenting complex matters
  • a ‘yes – can do’ attitude and the ability to work both individually and in teams
  • a high energy level, meaning that you work efficiently and get things done without compromising quality
  • solid knowledge of Microsoft Office and an expert within Excel and PowerPoint
  • an international profile with multicultural understanding
  • full fluency in English – more languages are a plus

You will be based at the Falck headquarters in the centre of Copenhagen but should expect up to 20 travel days a year to local country offices around the globe.
