Business Development Analysts for our new Strategy Office

Falck Group is looking for passionate and pioneering Business Development Analysts who want to be part of our new Strategy Office, referring directly to the CEO and executive management to help shape the future of Falck globally. The Strategy Office’s key focus will initially be on driving and facilitating our corporate strategy under our new Project North Star, which will set the future ambitions and direction for Falck. In the long term, the Strategy Office will focus on strategy implementation by ensuring a strong link between strategy and key initiatives. This includes driving strategic projects in close cooperation with our Business streams and Group functions, for instance focusing on strategy development, transformation projects, mergers & acquisitions, post-merger integration, divestments, innovation, and optimization.

The position
As a Business Development Analyst, you will play a key role in realizing our Project North Star. Your excellent data crunching powers and analytical skills within complex financial, operational, and commercial fields will form a critical factor in our large and small strategic projects. The same goes for your ability to present complicated data and insights in a way that brings everyone to the same page. In the Project North Star team, you will cooperate with Senior Business Development colleagues and experts from our Business streams as well as external consultants. You will also be working closely with our Finance Departments, Operational Excellence centers, Business Development and Business Intelligence units. Typically, you will be working on a project 3-6 months at a time together with colleagues from the Strategy Office and Business streams.
 
You will
  • describe data requirements to data providers, and ensure a common understanding of quality
  • conduct strategic and financial analyses and generate business cases
  • extract conclusions and present them in a way that is easy to understand
  • independently manage day-to-day execution of project workstreams and ensure that deliverables are right on deadline, scope, and quality
  • prepare ad-hoc analyses and presentations for executive management
You have
  • a relevant master's degree in business administration, finance, strategy, economics, or engineering
  • 1-2 years of experience working with strategic analysis from a top-tier management consultancy or investment bank/corporate finance
  • a sound analytical toolbox that makes you excellent at crunching numbers, understanding complex problems, and extracting key conclusions
  • the ability to build financial models and construct useful business cases
  • the ability to communicate complex subjects clearly and precisely at all levels of the organization
  • what it takes to independently run work streams in projects
  • a ‘yes – can do’ attitude and the ability to work both individually and in teams
  • a high energy level, meaning that you work efficiently and get things done without compromising quality
  • solid knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint. SAP and HFM experience are a plus
  • an international profile with multicultural understanding
  • full fluency in English – more languages are a plus

Basic coding skills are an advantage.

You will be based at the Falck headquarters in the centre of Copenhagen but should expect up to 20 travel days a year to local country offices.
