Business Development Managers for our new Strategy Office

​Falck Group is looking for passionate and pioneering Business Development Managers who want to be part of our new Strategy Office, referring directly to the CEO and executive management to help shape the future of Falck globally. The Strategy Office’s key focus will initially be on driving and facilitating our corporate strategy under our new Project North Star, which will set the future ambitions and direction for Falck. In the long term, the Strategy Office will focus on strategy implementation by ensuring a strong link between strategy and key initiatives. This includes driving strategic projects in close cooperation with our Business streams and Group functions, for instance focusing on strategy development, transformation projects, mergers & acquisitions, post-merger integration, divestments, innovation, and optimization.

The position
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in realizing our Project North Star. It will be your responsibility to drive and facilitate large and complex projects and programmes to achieve sustainable transformation. Projects will often run across Business streams and involve a large number of stakeholders, and your excellent project management skills will come into play as you lead and coach team members and experts from the Strategy Office and other parts of the organization. An important success criterion will be your ability to create change while ensuring that the organization takes ownership of the solution and is able to drive the implementation forward. Typically, you will be heading 1-2 project at a time with a mix of colleagues from the Strategy Office and the business streams.
You will
  • scope and plan strategic projects and programmes
  • drive and facilitate large projects and programmes
  • ensure that deliveries are on time, quality, and budget
  • facilitate steering group meetings
  • make concrete recommendations to management and set up successful implementation
  • ensure that knowledge is shared with the organization to strengthen our organizational power
  • develop and own part of the Strategy Office toolbox  (i.e. M&A, PMI, Process Excellence, Change Management). Train and coach others in the toolbox
  • be the team expert within 2-3 skill areas
  • develop and coach Junior Business Development colleagues
  • be a ‘trusted advisor’ for executive management

You have

  • a relevant master's degree in business administration, finance, strategy, or economics
  • 5+ years of experience working with strategy development and transformation projects from a top-tier management consultancy or investment bank/corporate finance, potentially combined with a similar position in an international company
  • a sound analytical toolbox – hypothesis driven analyses, data driven decision making, logical communication structure
  • significant project management and change management skills. Project certification is a plus
  • experience with managing teams and complex groups of stakeholders
  • creativity in facilitating workshops and presenting complex matters
  • a ‘yes – can do’ attitude and the ability to work both individually and in teams
  • a high energy level, meaning that you work efficiently and get things done without compromising quality
  • solid knowledge of Microsoft Office and expert within Excel and PowerPoint
  • an international profile with multicultural understanding
  • full fluency in English – more languages are a plus

You will be based at the Falck headquarters in the centre of Copenhagen but should expect up to 20 travel days a year to local country offices around the globe.
