Assistance
The
Assistance business sector has two main areas, Mobility and Security,
which offer
an array of services
and products to private, corporate and public customers.
The
services are primarily characterised by fast and competent assistance by Falck in the event of accidents
or mishaps: If a company’s warehouse is flooded, if the private customer’s roof is damaged in a storm,
or if the bus company needs a broken-down vehicle towed to the garage. Assistance also provides services
aimed at preventing damage and accidents.
Assistance
is largely based on the same logistics and competences as the Emergency services: Falck’s system of
hi-tech emergency alarm centres and the broad network of Falck stations ensuring fast help.
As
a rule, services are provided on the basis of subscription agreements between the customer and Falck.
Some 1.6 million companies and private citizens are covered by Falck’s subscription services in Denmark,
Norway, Sweden and Poland.
Sales and marketing
to private customers is primarily carried out through mass-marketing, the Internet, telemarketing and
close co-operation with partners. In recent years, Falck has entered into partnerships with a range
of large insurance companies. These partnerships mean that the companies sell Falck’s services either
to their own customers as part of the insurance coverage, or as a Falck service that is invoiced directly
by Falck.
Sales and marketing to corporate customers
mainly takes place through sales consultants and direct marketing.
