Training

Falck has a strong position on the world market for emergency response and safety courses for the offshore and maritime sectors. Its position is also strong in other fields such as the aviation and chemical industries and defence forces.

Falck’s competences are in great demand, not least as a consequence of stricter international safety requirements in many industries.

Activities are concentrated on health and safety training for client employees at all levels aimed at preventing accidents, as well as training in appropriate responses in difficult situations in case accidents occur.

Falck also analyses safety and emergency preparedness, particularly for clients in the sectors of offshore and nuclear power.

Courses are held at training centres in countries concentrated around the North Sea, i. e. Norway, Denmark, the Netherlands and the UK, and in South America and Asia.

Pursuing new markets and new clients Falck will in 2006 open new training centres in Macaé in Brazil, in Trinidad & Tobago, and in Oslo in Norway.

Marketing efforts employ the internationally well-known brands of Nutec and RISC, renamed as Falck Nutec and Falck RISC.
