Falck has appointed two new senior vice presidents
who will manage the two most recent established and growth-oriented business areas in Falck.
Marc
Uhrenholt will be in charge of Health and Emergency Internationally and Jens Hjorth will be in charge
of Training.
Health and Emergency Internationally
Marc
Alex Uhrenholt, 48, has been appointed Senior Vice President for Falck’s Health business unit and Falck’s
rescue activities outside Denmark.
Marc Uhrenholt’s area of responsibility is to include
Falck’s health activities in Denmark as well as Health and Rescue operations outside Denmark.
Marc
Uhrenholt is educated as a Master of Merconomics from the Business University of Århus, Denmark. He
comes to Falck from a position as Managing Director of the British subsidiary of Europæiske
Rejseforsikring, as well as Deputy Managing Director of Europæiske’s international holding company where
his areas of responsibility are international business development and strategy. He has had different
leading international positions in the Europæiske group since 1992.
Training
Jens Hjorth will be in charge of the Training business area. Jens
Hjorth comes from a post as Director of Corporate Logistics at the Danish media company JP/Politikens
Hus where he has been employed since 1999.
Jens Hjorth, who holds a cand.
merc. degree (business master degree), also worked for Falck from 1997 to 1999 when he was Director
of Operations in the counties of Vejle and Ringkøbing. He was responsible for emergency operations,
with more than 800 employees.
